Sunday at the Art Institute

We finally made it to the Girodet exhibit at the Art Institute- we had been trying to get there for a month. There was quite the line to get in but we stuck with it and the line actually only took like 10 minutes at the most. The exhibit was fantastic and definitely worth heading downtown for. We also headed to Marshall Fields on State Street. I wanted to look for a pair of shoes but once I wandered into the Prada section the things I could afford just weren't very appealing! Just kidding (kind of- I can never find shoes there- there are so many choices that I get a bit overwhelmed!

The exhibit was great, I'm glad we finally did something that we wanted to do. Usually our weekends are too wild, with going to Target and Jewel that going to the Art Museum was a nice change. I can't wait to do some more activities now that the weather is getting better. Its hard to fight your way downtown on the weekends in snow and crap.
