Book Club

My book club meet this week to talk about Atonement by Ian McEwan. I really liked it- there was a lot of character development. I like books that provoke thought- not a mindless read. This was such a contrast to the book we read last month- Running With Scissors. They are completely different but both worth reading- I have to say that Atonement is more my style and I enjoyed it more. Being in a book club has been great- I have met some really nice people and have read books that I never would have picked out but definitely enjoyed.
