As they are cleaning up dishes from dinner...

She: Don't the apricots look pretty in that bowl?

insert pause

She: Did you eat one of them already?

He: Did you count them?  How the heck to you know that!

She thinks to herself: because I had them placed just so and now there is a hole at the top!
