Hanging out at Lake Michigan

Since the weather was absolutely beautiful this weekend we spent as much time as we could outside. Yesterday we went over to North Avenue Beach and Shelby went nuts running in the sand. Sand is apparently a button for "Wild Shelby!" Both dogs were full of smiles on the way home... and had the nice drool coated in sand thing going on.

Today we trekked up to Belmont Harbor. It is so pretty out this time of year that it is hard to stay inside. I am just glad my midterms are over so that I didn't have to spend the weekend studying. I guess I have a couple of weeks to enjoy my weekends until finals come up!
